How We Handle the Information You Share

This site is operated by Memorable Moments by Ladle n Wok (the "Team," "we," "us"), a Bay Area event planning, design and catering business. You can reach us at contact@ladlenwok.com or +1 (925) 264-9508.

We only collect information that you provide directly through our website, plus a small amount of technical data the server records automatically.

From our inquiry forms:

— Your name, email address, and phone number (if you choose to provide it).

— The date, type, location, and approximate guest count of your event.

— Service preferences (planning, design, catering, or a combination).

— Any free-text notes you write — dietary needs, aesthetic direction, family traditions to honor, or anything else you share.

From your visit:

— Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp).

— Only if you accept analytics cookies: usage data collected by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, clicks and scrolling, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city level). Clarity may also record how pages are used; it masks what you type into forms. Nothing is collected by these tools unless you choose Accept.

— We do not use Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, or any other third-party tracking.

The information you share is used only to:

— Reply to your inquiry, schedule a call, and prepare a proposal.

— Coordinate your event with vendors and our team if you book us.

— Maintain ordinary business records (proposals, invoices, contracts).

— Comply with our legal obligations (tax records, contracts).

We do not use your information for marketing email lists, targeted advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the event you contacted us about.

We share information only with the small number of service providers we need to run the team, and only as required to do so:

— Resend — delivers the inquiry email from the website to our team inbox. Subject to Resend's privacy policy (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).

— Hostinger — hosts this website and processes its server logs. Subject to Hostinger's privacy policy (hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy).

— Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) — only if you accept analytics cookies, to help us understand how the site is used. Subject to Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Microsoft's privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com).

— Vendors directly involved in your event (florists, photographers, venue, etc.), and only the information they need to do their work.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We have not done so in the past 12 months and we have no plans to.

Inquiry records are kept for as long as we are in active conversation with you, and for a reasonable period afterward (up to two years) so we can answer follow-up questions or re-engage if you return.

If you book us, your contract and event records are kept for the period California law requires for business records (typically four to seven years). After that, they are archived or securely deleted.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see section 06.

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and we honor these rights for everyone, regardless of location. You may:

— Ask us what personal information we have about you.

— Ask us to correct it, or delete it.

— Ask us to stop processing it for any specific purpose.

— Receive a copy of the information you provided in a portable format.

The site stores only what it needs to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. We do not set advertising or social-media cookies.

With your permission, we use analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. A notice appears on your first visit; these tools load only if you click Accept, and are never loaded if you decline.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, analytics stay off.

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted with a notice on the site.
